Request removal of an intimate image

If an intimate image of you was shared on Tethrd without your consent, ask us to remove it here. This includes images that were edited or made with AI to look like you. You can also ask for someone you are authorized to act for, such as your child. You don't need an account.

The only images on Tethrd are profile photos and community logos. Messages are text only.

If the image shows someone under 18

Tell us here, and we will report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), as the law requires. You can also report it yourself at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678, and use NCMEC's Take It Down to help stop it spreading on other sites. Don't download, screenshot or send the image to anyone, including us: tell us where it is instead. If someone is in danger now, call 911.

Who can ask

  • The person shown in the image.
  • Someone authorized to act for them: a parent or guardian of a minor shown, a lawyer, or someone with their written permission.

What to include

The form asks for each of these. A request needs all of them.

  1. Your name and an email address where we can reach you.
  2. Which image, and where it is: whose profile or which community. Add a link if you have one.
  3. Whether you are the person shown or act for them.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the image was shared without consent, and anything that helps us see that.
  5. Your signature: type your full name.

What happens

  • You get a reference number as soon as you send the request.
  • Within 48 hours of receiving it, we remove the image and any identical copies we find, and block it from being uploaded again.
  • We email you when it is removed. If we can't act on it, for example because we can't find it, we tell you why.
  • We don't tell the person who posted it who asked.
